This role focuses on client outreach, service promotion, and relationship development for a growing security consulting firm offering cyber, physical, and workplace safety services. The Security Specialist is responsible for identifying prospective clients, communicating the value of our security service packages, and supporting the sales pipeline from initial contact through scheduling assessments and consultations. The position is well-suited for individuals with strong communication skills, situational awareness, and a professional understanding of security concepts relevant to small and medium-sized businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Sales Outreach: Engage small-to-medium businesses, service providers, and brick-and-mortar operations through phone outreach, email communication, and LinkedIn interaction to introduce security service packages.
Service Promotion: Explain offerings such as cybersecurity readiness audits, physical security assessments, workplace violence programs, service-provider compliance support (e.g., notaries, accountants), and risk mitigation packages.
Client Qualification: Identify prospective client needs, determine service fit, and document relevant business information for follow-up.
Lead Tracking & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of all outreach activities, client responses, and scheduled consultations using designated CRM or tracking tools.
Consultation Scheduling: Coordinate discovery calls, security assessments, and follow-up meetings between prospective clients and executive leadership.
Professional Communication: Represent the company with consistent, client-ready communication reflecting industry standards in security services and risk management.
Confidentiality Compliance: Sign and uphold a strict NDA, ensuring protection of organizational data, client information, and operational details.
Operational Alignment: Work remotely with full alignment to PST hours for communication windows. Availability for occasional early or late calls is required for prospective-client scheduling.
Desired Qualifications
Strong communication skills with a professional phone presence.
Familiarity with basic cybersecurity and physical security concepts preferred.
Experience in sales, client outreach, or service promotion strongly desired.
Ability to understand and convey security service value propositions clearly.
Competence in CRM systems, spreadsheets, and digital communication tools.

The workflow offers flexibility in how tasks are completed, provided all operational communication aligns with Pacific Standard Time. 90-Day Introductory Period
The initial 90 days function as an evaluation period to ensure the contractor meets performance metrics, demonstrates consistent professionalism, and can reliably support sales development. Specific milestones will include outreach volume, lead generation quality, pipeline tracking accuracy, and communication standards. Engagement beyond 90 days is contingent upon meeting expectations and sustaining dependable performance.
